Industry experts and lovers take advantage of the range day at the 2017 Shot Show.

There’s few things we enjoy here at Sin City Press more than guns.
That’s right — something about their complexity, the facile nature of modifying them to your specifications and watching them hit their target is magical.
That’s why it was important to us to verify that the Shot Show, one of my favorite conventions to cover, will go on in 2018. Indeed, the New York Post has confirmed the show will continue as scheduled.
For those of us who can’t wait, let’s dive into the details (Note: We’ll update this page as more information is released, so make sure to bookmark it!):
Date: January 23-26, 2018
Location: Sands Expo Center
Who: A list of Shot Show 2018 exhibitors is available here
What are we most excited for? Well, it could be the reactive targets by HD Targets, a patent-pending design that “is also self-adhesive and can be peeled off and attached to cardboard, paper and even wood. The reactive target line from HD Targets has grown in popularity because it enables marksmen to clearly see their target without any distracting glare and reveals evident ‘bursts’ when shot,” according to their Shot Show profile page.
But then again, we could be hyped over the beautiful full view high-security display by Hoffman Manufacturing Co, which offers expansive space and a modern finish with a custom wood grain panel that emphasizes the natural aspects of a full gun display.
Advice to attendees:
See below for the prices provided by the show. As for parking, both the Palazzo and Venetian provide free parking structures to the public if you’re driving yourself.
According to the show’s website, “Free rides to and from the Sands Expo Center and official SHOT Show hotels (as listed here) are available Monday–Friday. Morning and afternoon service runs every 15 minutes…”
Additionally, Uber and Lyft operate along the Strip, as do multiple taxi companies. All have designated pickup locations, so make sure to check your drop off or pickup location with your driver or a hotel parking attendant.
