Hold on to your hats, Sin City theater fans! Tickets to “Hamilton,” the acclaimed Broadway musical about the life and struggles of treasury secretary Alexander Hamilton, go on sale this morning to the general public.
The show, which premiered at The Public Theater in February 2015 and moved to Broadway that summer, has become an international hit and is in the midst of a 20-city national tour, according to Broadway World.
That tour will bring the show to Vegas’ own Smith Center. Though tickets for Smith Center season ticket patrons have already been made available in limited quantities, 10 a.m. will be the general public’s chance to snag admission into what is sure to be the hottest thing in the local art/theater world this summer.
“Hamilton” will have showings at the Smith Center from May 29 to June 24. Tickets range from $69 to $194 with limited premium seating for $569. For tickets, visit http://www.thesmithcenter.com.
